Thank you

Simply, when you get the error message (during the installation of PhotoPro)

"Right click" on the small Windows icon at the bottom left of your PC screen
"Left click" on "Shut down or sign out"
    "on "Sign out"
(It won't want to sign out because there is an operation in progress)

    "Cancel"

you will return to the PhotoPro installation window
    "click" on "Retry"
and the installation will continue without an error message.

I right-click on Windows at the bottom left
I don't know how to left-click, but I can right-click on shut down or disconnect
When I click on disconnect, it works and so I am disconnected!!!
      So I'm still nowhere???

        Hello,
Had you launched the installation of your CD before?
That's exactly what I did and it worked well.
Unfortunately, I'm not a great computer expert.
I had asked the question on the forum: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home
and that's the answer I received
You can try as well, you might get other responses.

Thank you JanikN, it worked for me on Win 11! Bravo for having the imagination to do it this way. I'm really glad to have regained the use of Photo Pro 10. However, Album Photo 10 also installs but doesn't open. It was useful for renaming or resizing groups of photos. I will keep trying, it's less important than Photo Pro 10, but if you have another brilliant idea, I'm all ears. Good luck!
