Hello everyone,
Thank you for reading me and in advance, for sharing your thoughts on this question.
Last Saturday, I went to Boulanger to buy a Samsung 110 cm television: TV SAMSUNG QE49Q6F 2018 QLED. The salesperson offered me a 5-year warranty extension in case of dead pixels, claiming that today 1/3 of televisions experience this problem... In short, statistics that I think are largely overestimated and a little lie that prevented me from paying the additional 200 euros.
In hindsight, I don't know what to think... Do you think it is necessary to pay for this kind of 5-year warranty...? Do you have any feedback on your experiences? Thank you and have a good evening!
Philippe

Hello
personal experience:
not all pixels are covered by warranty; only those in the center of the screen
I don't know anyone who needed the warranty extension
the seller has a commission

to learn is to listen to those who know and ignore those who think they know

Thank you for your feedback, which I take with great interest. What you're saying about the pixels in the center of the screen should be noted in the fine print, I wouldn't be surprised at all...
