Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to you because I'm unable to boot my MSI CX61 PC on Windows 7 that I previously installed on a USB drive (32GB). I formatted drive C (4GB) and drive D (450GB) using the command prompt, and ever since I launch the PC with the bootable USB, it says "launch the disk"
What I've already tried:
-Creating the USB with Rufus (tried in FAT32 and NTFS)
-Creating the USB with the Windows 7 USB DVD tool
-Setting the BIOS to legacy
-Setting USB boot to 1 in the BIOS
-Plugging the USB into a 2.0 port
So if you have any advice for me, I'm stuck here, thank you very much for your help.

Regarding your settings, if the ISO is recent, you don't need to touch the BIOS.
Also, if you set it to Legacy and the disk is in GPT, you won't be able to install Windows.
To understand, read: https://www.malekal.com/differences-mbr-gpt-partitions-de-disque/
You shouldn't touch these settings, it only causes problems.
