Hello everyone,
So, right now there is an offer from Bouygues, with B&YOU that proposes a very interesting deal of 30GB of internet for only €9.99.
However, on certain forums they say that this offer is possibly cheap because the speed would be limited to 3 Mbit/s. To confirm, I called Bouygues customer service and they told me that the speed is the same as on all Bouygues plans.
I'm not really sure what to think. And I would like, if it's really interesting, to take advantage of this plan.
If you could enlighten me.
Thank you.

Hello, I just switched to Bouygues with the BandYou plan at €4.99 for 20 GB with number portability. Previously, I was with Sosh.
Upon receiving my new SIM, I did a speed test (temporary number), and the 4G speed was identical to Orange (17mb/s).
Yesterday, the portability was completed at 15:30, and with my number, the speed was still good at 17 mb/s, then around 18:30, I lost signal for a solid 10 minutes.
The network gradually came back, fluctuating between EDGE, 3G, and a little 4G since yesterday, making it impossible to have a clear conversation; my contacts say it cuts off, all while staying in the same geographic location.
Today, while moving around, I was able to reach good speeds in certain areas, but as soon as I returned to my village, the connection switched back to EDGE, 3G... even though I had a solid speed of 17 mb/s yesterday.
I don't know if Bouygues throttles its plans based on where you are, but in any case, it's unacceptable to have such poor speeds. I'll wait a few days, in case it takes time for the number portability or a technical issue (nothing is mentioned on their site), and if it doesn't improve, I'll go back to Sosh immediately; I prefer to pay a little more but at least not have to worry about whether it will work.
