Hello everyone, I'm presenting my problem clearly. I have ads on Le Bon Coin online and I receive messages via the messaging system. Normally, I respond, but I never receive a reply to my response. Okay, one might say there's some resignation on the part of the "client," but I've realized that the message I sent hasn't reached them. How do I know? I simply did a test because this isn't the first time it's happened, and everything was working perfectly in April. I created another account on Le Bon Coin to reply to my ad and guess what? I receive my message, it's perfect, now I reply and there? The message doesn't go through, and even checking the emails, there's nothing at all, and I don't know why this is happening because we're losing clients, and we have to force them to contact us via SMS or calls. The messaging system on Le Bon Coin is honestly bad now. I don't know if you have any solutions, that would really help me.

Same problem for 5 days, I just did a test with a friend who replied to my ad and I am not receiving his messages, nor is he receiving mine... Neither through the email return from Le Bon Coin on my inbox nor on the direct messaging of Le Bon Coin. 5 days of lost messages and it's still happening while I had a lot of ongoing sales :((

I've been doing some more in-depth tests between my account and those of my wife and son for the past two days!
Having recently acquired a VPN, I thought the problem stemmed from that. But nothing works, even with the VPN disabled and closed, most messages on leboncoin don't go through.
Curiously, some messages do go through occasionally. I was able to have a conversation with a seller for an ad and a few messages got through with my family.
I've also contacted the site, receiving a very generic response similar to the one Lolo mentioned earlier!
I think Leboncoin doesn't really care about us when they respond, "After checking, we confirm that we do not observe any anomalies in message sending."
No solution for now, I'm losing hope!!!

Le Bon Coin will soon be required to partner with the Tax Administration to list the sales you make.. I no longer trust this site anyway, which I am leaving. A user for 7 years and now, overnight, like many here, my messages give me no replies to the requests made.. not reliable at all. Their fake responses are just a façade, I don’t believe it anymore, it’s just smoke and mirrors like politicians.. Anyway, this website will soon be doomed when all its scandals are quickly unearthed in our times. I am a web developer. I no longer need Le Bon Coin. I sell on foreign platforms; in France, we are monitored everywhere..

Okay, the issue likely comes from Gmail and not from FREE. Test conducted this morning:
- Created a Le Bon Coin account with a hotmail address,
- posted a fake ad,
- asked a question on the ad page with another hotmail address as contact
- received the question instantly at the first hotmail address
- received the reply also instantly at the second hotmail address
The question? Where have all my messages from over a year gone? And how can I solve this problem while keeping my Gmail address?

Same problem for me, but it's not coming from Gmail. My partner and I are both with Yahoo and we tested it: it doesn't work. I think the problem is therefore with leboncoin's messaging, not with external messaging services.

I had the same problem, and I ended up changing my phone number in my profile. Since then, miracle, everything seems to be working, but there's no proof that it will last, so I think I'm going to indicate that I can be reached by SMS and do the same. By the way, I think I had the same issue as a potential buyer, the seller didn’t seem to want to respond, I didn’t dare to call him, but I would have done better to try... Seriously, Leboncoin is becoming less and less attractive... when will we get a site that matches up?....

several of my listings and nothing arrives in my inbox (free webmail) except for the recently renewed listings.

It took me 6 months to understand the problem with multiple attempts.
Since the new messaging system on Le Boncoin, I've concluded that the reply feature for messages doesn't work with Gmail.
If you are using Gmail in multi-messaging, it doesn't work.
You absolutely have to go through the site's internal messaging.

DON'T LOOK FOR IT, the messaging on the LEBONCOIN site WORKS INTERMITTENTLY (they know it and couldn't care less !!!)
I sent the message three times because it wasn't going through. The response was indeed quite "generic". Probably the same copy/paste for everyone...
