Zimbra.mail.free on new smartphone Solved

I am in the process of setting up my new smartphone, HUAWEI P8 LITE 2017, and I would like to be notified of messages from my Zimbra.free mailbox, and be able to access it directly without going through a connection via a browser.
On my old smartphone, it worked.
The problem is that I can't get it to work.
In the menu icons, I go to "Email".
On the "Add an account" screen, since Zimbra is not listed, I select "Others".
On the "Configure an account" screen, I enter my "email" address and my Zimbra mailbox password, and I request to connect.
I get "Operation impossible" "Unable to connect to the server".
I tap on OK, and I get a more detailed screen.
Server: pop.free.fr
Port: 110
If I tap on "next", I get
SMTP server: smtp.free.fr
Port: 25
If I tap on next, I get "Operation impossible" "Unable to connect to the server" again.
And there, I can't go any further.
Does anyone have an idea to solve my problem?

PS: I cannot contact Free support because I kept the email address from the time I had a Free box, but I now have an SFR box, so no box identifiers with Free.

Hello,

Actually for Zimbra, the easiest way is to set up your Free email address.

Suppose your email address is mymail@free.fr

Here are the settings for GMAIL:

You need to add a Personal account of type (IMAP) preferably not (POP3)

The labels may differ depending on your smartphone
in account name enter: mymail@free.fr
in your name enter: whatever you want e.g. mymail free
in signature it's up to you
Sync: it's up to you
for various other settings, it's also up to you.

Now here are the email parameters

RECEPTION

Username: mymail@free.fr
Password: your password
Server: imap.free.fr
Port: 993
Security type: SSL/TLS

SENDING

Require authentication: NO
SMTP Server: smtp.free.fr
Port: 465
Security type: SSL/TLS

And that should work without any problem.

Hello,

I don't understand how you were able to access zimbra.free.fr through a messaging software.

Zimbra.free.fr is a webmail service accessible, as its name indicates, on the Web with an IP address.

Messaging software manages email accounts using different protocols: POP, IMAP, SMTP. This has nothing to do with webmails!

So don't be surprised that zimbra does not appear in the email accounts.

On your smartphone, you use an Email app to manage the accounts.
This app expects you to provide (among other things) your email account address:
xxxxxxx@free.fr

I strongly advise against using the POP protocol: Messages are downloaded to where you read them and will therefore not be available on another device.

Here are the settings to use:

incoming server:
username: your free address: xxxxxxx@free.fr
password: the one associated with your free address
server: imap.free.fr
port: 143
security: none

sending settings:
server: smtp.free.fr
port: 587
security: none
do not require login.

There are other possible settings using a secure connection.

Hello,
First step, "Incoming server"
After entering all the parameters you provided:
Free messaging ID
Free messaging password
Server
Port
Type of security

and leaving "Never" in the "Delete emails from server" section

During the verification of the incoming server settings, I get the message:
"Operation impossible"
"Unable to connect to the server"

I can't proceed further, I don't have access to the second step, "Outgoing Server" and therefore cannot enter the parameters related to it.

Do you have any other ideas?
