Downloads folder is not responding

Hello,

Windows 8.1
mozilla+qwant

I have a problem since this morning.
When I try to open my Downloads folder, I get the message: "download not responding"
I have to go through the task manager to stop Windows Explorer; if I don't do it, I see the computer using more and more memory.
Once I stop the process, I have to restart the computer.

I read a solution from a user posted today, which did not help me at all.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hello

Download FRST from another PC and transfer it via a USB stick to the PC where you need to run the scan

PS: you can run it in safe mode if you have issues in normal mode
