What is Drive F? Solved

Question

Hello,
I have Windows 10, and it keeps showing up that my F drive is full, I didn't even know it existed! Normally, everything I save is on the C drive and there's still plenty of space there, it's annoying because it interrupts what I'm doing to show me that. What should I do?

Configuration: iPad / Safari 11.0

It is a Windows recovery partition, which is normal, but it is not supposed to be visible and calculated as free space by Windows.

what does your explorer tell you when you right-click on "computer" from the desktop
do you see the "F" drive? If so, could it be a backup partition that Windows created to make the first system backup?

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your quick response.
I clicked on the computer, and indeed, I see that the F drive is red because it is almost full, 442 MB out of 460.
I click on it, and the details of the content appear: system & reserved space 17.9 MB, then below others such as documents, images, music, videos, mail, etc., all of those 0 bytes, then one called Other, and that one has 442 MB. I click on it, and it says "we couldn't find any folders to display"? So it is full, and the system cannot find what is inside? What does that mean?
What should I do?

They call it local disk F, why local? I'm giving you this clarification that might shed some light on it! Because I am completely in the dark!!! Thank you again

Good evening,

This message appears after a Windows 1803 update or reset.
This is due to the fact that the recovery partition is visible with a drive letter when it should be hidden.
