Skype opens automatically when the PC starts. Solved/Closed

Hello,
I don't understand why when I turn on my laptop, the login page for Skype appears. How can I remove it? Thank you for your response.

Hello,
It's very simple, just click on Start (Windows logo) in the taskbar, and type exe in the search bar, then click on Run which is suggested first in the results. A window opens, type msconfig and click on OK. Another window opens, go to the Startup tab, uncheck Skype and finally click on Apply then OK.

And there you go, your Skype will no longer open automatically at startup.

Thank you for the response, however in the last window I do not have Skype display so I cannot uncheck,  the last window indicates system configuration  I am on Windows 7.

Hello,  Launch Skype Tools Options General tab General settings Uncheck --> Start Skype when Windows starts   -- The human being is at his best when things are at their worst.
