Hello, I just finished season 2 of Vampire Knight Guilty and I'm a fan. I wanted to know if you have any information about season 3. Some people say it doesn't exist, claiming this is the end, while others say otherwise, so I'm confused. I'd appreciate any info, thanks.

Honestly, I don't understand! Why aren't they releasing season 3 as an anime! I wish it would come out sometime in 2018.

If Studio Deen is taking so long to make season 3, it's because the director of the series said he wanted to make season 3 better than seasons 1 and 2. Indeed, this season 3 has been awaited for a really long time, and it’s probably ready if we judge by the few teasers and how long it’s all been taking...

So why isn’t it coming out? In my opinion, it’s quite simple: season 2 wasn’t profitable, period!

Basically, nowadays, we watch without paying! A petition with 25 million signatures is worth nothing (it’s even the opposite; if there were only 10,000 sales, that must really annoy the production with all this noise)... Given the number of petitions, still, the producers must have tried to send a message by circulating teasers for a season 3, “we can put in our share, but you have to put in yours”: if the sales of season 2 had skyrocketed, it would have been released this season.

Vampire Knight is popular, but not profitable! The production has engaged in a silent standoff (in my opinion) against the piracy of their series (streaming, downloads, etc. = we’re really just little thieves, we can't have it all ^^” Watching an anime for free and demanding the next season with such a fuss, that’s just pathetic).

There are always the scans for those who want the next part; that’s already pretty good if you want everything for free, and otherwise, let’s not push grandma into the nettles, as they say... We’ve lost this battle and it’s quite normal; we can’t blame those who defend their livelihood!

We were naughty, we were punished: this season was indeed ready, I think, and when they realized the difference between the number of fans and the number of sales, anger, anger... A Japanese-style punishment! A little teaser now and then to nourish the hope... And bam! No arms, no chocolate!

  Some of us have been waiting for Vampire Knight season 3 for 10 years, and others are still busy fishing for information. In 2017, the creators claimed they were ready for season 3, but it's been radio silence from the Japanese producers. They are still bombarded with petitions today, but apparently, season 2 wasn't profitable enough... maybe the arrival of VK on Netflix will reactivate the process...

In the fanbook, X Hino mentioned that there won't be a sequel because she didn't really like the anime and that she didn't like the outcome, and that many scenes were not included... and that she prefers it in book form. Also, the director envisioned an ending like that in the anime, which is why Sara didn't appear in season 2, because introducing a new character without a sequel... That's it. But since VKM is doing well, I hope with all my heart that there will be a sequel.

I just finished Vampire Knight too, and the ending made me really sad because we don't know if Takuma is still alive, and Yuki and Zero had such a special bond that seeing him wanting to kill her at the end... I really hope there will be a season 3 of Vampire Knight.

Hi, sorry, but unfortunately I don't think there will ever be a season 3 since now we are in 2021 and it's been 12 years since the animation was released, so I don't believe in season 3. It's sad, but oh well.

Currently, on November 30, 2020, I just finished the second season of Vampire Knight that I started a week ago. I really loved it, but after seeing all the messages posted above, I feel a bit depressed about having so little hope that a third season will come out because I really enjoyed this anime.

Actually... I don’t think the creators are planning a season 3. Just know that I’ve been following this anime since I was 12 or 13 years old, and I’m 20 now... I’ve been hoping for season 3 since then. Believe me, the fans have insisted, but the creators have never done anything. When I found out it was on Netflix, I got my hopes up, but even then... The only thing that saved me when I was younger was the manga. Where you even have extra stuff that’s not in the anime. But as many say, don’t get your hopes up too much. Even though I hope that Netflix's movement over the last two years will encourage the creators.
