Connect wireless headphones to soundbar

Question

Hello,I would like to connect a wireless headset to my LG TV equipped with a Sony soundbar.How should I proceed? I know absolutely nothing about this and I read everything on the subject, buying a headset alone, buying an additional device that plugs into the TV to pair the headset...Who can help me with simple terms please?Thank you.Configuration: Android / Chrome 65.0.3325.109

I haven't bought a headset yet.
As for the TV and the soundbar, besides the visible brands (so LG and Sony Dolby Surround), I don't know how to find the model names; I no longer have the boxes or the invoices. The TV is about 7-8 years old and the soundbar is 4-5 years old...

Oh yes, thank you!  The TV: LG 42PJ150 (manufactured: July 2010)  The soundbar: Sony SA-CT80  Are these details sufficient for someone to give me an informed opinion?  Thank you in advance.

The LG-42PJ150 television has a digital optical audio output
so there's no problem connecting it to the soundbar with an optical cable... the soundbar itself has an optical input.
As for connecting a wireless headset?
neither device has an analog output for a 3.5mm jack or RCA.
Regarding potential Bluetooth connection, you'll need to check if the television has the LG Sound Sync function

If not... you'll need to consider an optical splitter with one input and two outputs (one for the soundbar and the other for the headset)
If the future headset has an optical input, there’s no problem; if it doesn't, you will need a digital optical to analog 3.5mm and/or RCA converter.

Thank you very much for your help. Does this mean that I need to pair the headphones with the TV, and not the soundbar? But will I still get the sound quality of the soundbar in the headphones?

My soundbar is connected to the TV via optical, I can't use its Bluetooth link to pair headphones, it's not that simple?

I'll check if the TV has the option you mentioned.

I have thoroughly searched the menu of my television, but I cannot find anywhere the mention of the synchronization function you mentioned.
Could you then explain to me simply and clearly what I need to do to capture the sound via a wireless headset on this setup, preferably with specific buying suggestions?
