If you buy a new karaoke system that's already fully equipped, it will cost you much more.

To have a ready-to-use system without needing to use other equipment like an additional mixing console or without doing any patchwork, you need to get a karaoke system where the receiver base for the microphones does more than just that. This base should also be able to directly mix the sound from the microphones with an additional input, in this case, that of your TV, and ideally, output the signal already in digital form.
In fact, it would be an all-in-one system.

The problem is that a karaoke system that meets all these criteria is really much more expensive.

Wired microphones wouldn't be suitable, I think?
