At the opening of Thunderbird version 52.7.0, all my subfolders have disappeared. How do I restore them? Thank you.

    Hello jpzebulonfr
    • Open the Thunderbird page
    • Click on "go to -
    • Choose "Folders"
    • Click on "Recent" or "Local Folders" depending on the case the list of folders should reappear in the left pane.

    Good luck

Thank you for your help. I tried this method but unfortunately it didn't work. However, I managed to recover some of the subfolders by going to "Manage folder subscriptions" in the account, and after about ten attempts, I saw some subfolders reappear but not all of them.

    Hi,
To be precise: What do you mean by subfolders?:

    These ones?:

Within the "Incoming Mail" folder, I created folders by area of interest, for example, a "Genealogy" folder and a "Family" folder. Inside the "Genealogy" folder, I then created other folders like "Marine" and "Toulon." These are the folders I call "sub-folders." The hierarchy is as follows:
      - Incoming Mail
      - Genealogy
      - Marine
      - Toulon
      - Family
      - Trash
      - Sent Items
      ...
It was the sub-folders Marine and Toulon that had disappeared and that I recovered by going into the ***@*** account --> "Advanced Functions" --> "Manage Subscriptions" where they reappeared by clicking "Subscribe" and "Refresh" several times.
Don't ask me why, I have no idea, but after repeatedly doing these actions, I managed to recover almost all of my sub-folders.
