Restricted friend and birthday notification

Hello,
If I put friends in the restricted friends category, will they receive a notification for my birthday?
I can't find the information anywhere on the internet.

    Hello

    It all depends on what privacy settings you've put on your birthday...
    The restricted ones can only see what's public... if your birthday is public then it's fine, otherwise it's not.
