Hi.

We can't do that anymore. Since the last update of Facebook, we either disable it for everyone or for no one. We can no longer choose on a case-by-case basis.

Oh yeah, that's true!!
I haven't checked that since Messenger became an app. :/

But I have the solution.
Go to their profile, then open the chat window and you will find the option to disable it for just one person.

" You have disabled chat for Machin, but you can still send them a message.
