Hello,
I am using PowerPoint 2007 on Windows 2010. When I try to make changes to my photo album, this message appears when I try to save the changes: PRESS ESC TO CANCEL THE DOCUMENT SAVE.
I don't know what to do to restore the proper functioning of the saves. Thank you for your help.
Best regards.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 63.0.3239.132

Hello,

What’s the problem??
They’re just suggesting you cancel the registration (in case you change your mind)... No one is forcing you to cancel.
It’s offered for any action that seems to take time...

Hello, I have the same issue and no, there are not multiple choices. The message says: "PRESS THE ESC KEY TO CANCEL THE DOCUMENT RECORDING." but only offers "ok" as a response and the document does not save.

Same, I don't understand how to fix this...

give time to time, after a few seconds the window will disappear and the recording will resume...
in any case, that's what happens for me when recording a very detailed slideshow...

The dialog box slows down the save process. Where can we find the option to remove it permanently?

The dialog box doesn't slow anything down at all... I repeat: it only appears when a document is very large, and that's when it will take time. So, it's not the dialog box that should be blamed but the oversized file!
