Hello,
I have been using the PHILIPS SHD 8800 headset for a few days now, and it is a very good device.
The problem is that for the past few days, during listening, the sound completely disappears and sometimes comes back
then goes away again, and at that point, it doesn't work anymore.
When I charge it on its base, it blinks white or green or stays on solid green.
I use it for about 1 hour, and the above problem occurs.
Is there a remedy?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Claudejean

Hello,
There's a good chance that the batteries are worn out...
They have become incapable of providing the necessary power.
They need to be replaced; you need AAA 900 mAh NiMH rechargeable batteries
(Philips SBC HB900S)
See this conversation for a headset similar to yours

The batteries are supposedly guaranteed for life and you just need to contact Philips to get new ones.
Note that these batteries are special (the lower part is not covered in plastic)
otherwise, here are some available in stores

It’s very hard to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
I will change these batteries hoping that ...
Thank you
