we don't ask for anything, we are volunteers serving anonymous people who encounter problems.
To open your Gmail account, you enter the email address you registered and the corresponding password on a secure, up-to-date device (firewall, antivirus, and correct website address) and with the correct time.
If you are trying from a phone, switch to a computer; it is best to use the same device that you registered with.

IF you have forgotten your password, you can request a reminder using the recovery email address you registered on the day you signed up for Gmail.
If you have forgotten all this information, unfortunately, no one will be able to help you.

I was hoping to find a lasting solution to this issue here, but in the end, it might be me who unlocks it for you ^^

Many users have reported this issue to our support.

Here is the solution we found to help them:

- Quit Chrome
- Look in the notification area (at the bottom right of the screen, next to the volume, network icons, etc.) for the Chrome icon, right-click on it, and uncheck "Keep Chrome running in the background"
- If the Chrome icon is still there, right-click on it and select "Quit."
- Launch Chrome and test opening mail

For our users, Gmail works normally again after this procedure.

google is primarily looking to gather as much information about you as possible. That is why they require you to add a phone number. They are crooks. If you don't do this, you lose the right to access your own account. Personally, I've lost access to my Gmail account, and now to verify that this account indeed belongs to me, I have to provide the month and year of creation. I've had this account for over 10 years, I've changed computers twice since then, and it's impossible for me to answer their stupid questions 100%.
Under the pretext of securing our accounts, they block them even though there has never been a problem.

Yes, that's exactly it. Google is denying me access to my Gmail address "for my security."
When I log in, I get the following message:

Confirm it's really you
This device is not recognized. For your security, Google wants to ensure it's really you.

I believe it's because of the Windows 10 update (version change) and the Firefox update (the content blocking option is more comprehensive). Google would have preferred that, "for my security," I didn't update and didn't block intrusive content!
The worst part is that the account isn't blocked, because a blocked account can be unblocked. But here, there’s no solution for that.
