Hello

When I connect my ACER AMD E1 Windows 7 Pro laptop to a TV via HDMI, the laptop screen does not display on the TV. I tried it on two TVs with the same problem. Do I need to install software?

If anyone has an idea, thank you in advance.

Hello,

Press the Windows + P key combination.

You will see a menu appear on the PC to duplicate or extend the display of the screen.

Hello,

Normally, to display the image on a television, you only need a cable. Make sure you are on the right "input" of your TV.

Let me explain: The ports on the back of your TV are numbered (for example, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.). This allows you to keep multiple devices plugged in simultaneously to the TV and switch between them using your remote. To switch your "input," there is a button on your remote labeled either "input," "source," or something similar. Press this button to toggle inputs. You will then see the different ports displayed on your screen (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, Video/Component, etc.). Go to the one that matches the correct port number where you plugged in your HDMI cable. If the computer is on and not in sleep mode, the image should display.

If that doesn't work, try using another HDMI cable. Take the one from your digital decoder or the one from your game console if you're sure the cable works. An HDMI cable breaks more often than one might think. If you still have the same problem, try a different HDMI port on your TV. No image yet? Your HDMI port on your laptop is likely defective, or you have a driver issue. At that point, I recommend going to your nearest computer repair shop. :)

Hoping this response meets your expectations.

Best regards

Everything works, I tested 2 cables and 2 TVs and 2 laptops: an Acer and a MacBook. Before, I had an HP and it worked well, and it works fine with the PS4.??

when I say everything works, I mean the equipment. The only thing that doesn't work is the display, which does not show on the TV.
