Hello,

I created some labels myself (with a frame and flowers). I would like to do a mail merge and match my list of first names from an Excel file to a specific spot on my label.
When I launch the mail assistant, I don’t have the option to use the existing document.

Can you help me?

Thank you
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 63.0.3239.132

Hello,

Don't use the assistant.

You take your already created document (if I understood correctly).
You click on "Start Mail Merge", and choose Labels. The Labels Options dialog box will appear, you simply click on Cancel.
Then you select your Excel file via the Select Recipients button.
You can create your first labels with the fields.
Then you click on Update Labels and merge.

Hello,

This is what I've done, but it's not working. My labels aren't updating sequentially but rather from one page to another.
I think my problem lies with my label.
I'll try to explain how my file is composed. My label is 7 cm wide and 4 cm high and includes an image. I've duplicated it, so I have 3 per row on 7 rows long, which makes 21 labels.
How do I tell Word to go to the next image to update my labels and not to the next page?
I hope my explanations are clear.

Thank you,
Laulaufe

For the formatting of the labels, it's OK. But you don't mention the fields.
The fields should be placed in the first label only.
Then you need to click on Update Labels so that the fields spread to all the labels with the automatic addition of the "Next Record" field.

The problem is here!
The "Next Record" field does not appear on the rest of my labels.
I think it doesn't detect the format of my labels...

It needs to be a table. Otherwise, there’s nothing special about the format.
