Samsung TV Dead Pixels

Hello,

I bought a Samsung TV 49MU7005 before Christmas. About two weeks later, I noticed a dead pixel and upon closer inspection, I counted around twenty dead pixels, sometimes even visibly at least 2 side by side.

I contacted Samsung's customer service who, with the photos of the screen from a distance and some close-ups I provided, told me that these issues would not be covered by the warranty because they would be 'foreign bodies or insects'...

I looked very closely and I don't see any insects and not specifically any foreign bodies...

Additionally, aside from the rather improbable nature of this, my TV having about twenty dead pixels, I don't understand how Samsung's customer service could have seen 20 foreign bodies or 20 insects on it considering I sent 2 or 3 close-ups...

Do you see any insects or foreign bodies in these photos or is Samsung messing with me? When I look at my TV up close, I really feel like I'm seeing dead pixels with the nearby diodes lit up and not foreign bodies or insects.

Hello,
Well, you can clearly see that these are insects, right???

I'm joking, right away return the TV to the store where you bought it, have the seller check it and let the store deal with the rest!!!

This is a well-known defect in Samsung TVs, but they won't acknowledge it.

You bought it in France, which means European legislation requires a mandatory 2-year warranty, and there's no arguing about it!!!

Return to the store and let them deal with those damn Koreans ;-)

And even if these were insects or foreign bodies (Samsung's excuses), it's winter here in Europe, all the insects are hibernating, so inevitably these insects or foreign bodies came from their production lines over there!!!

It's more than time for this brand to disappear from the face of the earth!!!

Regards and have a good evening ;-)
