DELL OPTIPLEX 780 PC no internet access

Question

Hello,  My PC, which was working fine until now, is giving an error code "unidentified network, no internet access," the router is connected via Ethernet cable to the PC, and the lights are flashing properly when the cable is plugged in.  The network card is an Intel 28567LM 3Giga, in the properties info I have: this device is working properly but in event and information:  "the device PCI \VEN_8086&DEV_10DE&SUBSYS_02761028&REV_02\3&172e68dd&0&C8 requires that the installation be continued."  In the device manager, I find an alarm "PCI serial port" code 28: driver not installed. After searching online, I downloaded and installed the chipset from DELL, but when I try to install the driver (under C:\dell\drivers\R253211), no driver is found. Hello,  Go to the device manager Give the hardware ID of the PCI serial port Look at this --> Find a device's identification number Post the number in your next message.  Is Windows 7, 8 or 10 --> 32 or 64 bit?   -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.

Hello Kaneagle,  Here are the found numbers: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&SUBSYS_04201028&REV_03 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&SUBSYS_04201028 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&CC_070002 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&CC_0700  In the events for PCI, I had the following message: The device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2E17&SUBSYS_04201028&REV_03\3&172e68dd&0&1B requires the installation to be continued.  Windows 10 is 64-bit  (For the PCI hardware ID, I was unable to find out who the manufacturer was)  Thank you for your attention to my request for help.  Best regards. Fredo

Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bits  Download this driver -->  AMT and place it in your documents.  Right-click on --> INTEL_AMT....exe Select --> 7Zip Choose --> extract to "INTEL_AMT....\"  Go to Device Manager. Right-click on the device Update driver Browse my computer ...... Choose from a list of drivers... Have disk Browse Go to your documents Go to the folder of the unzipped driver --> INTEL_AMT.... Folder --> SOLinf Select the file --> mesrle.inf Restart.  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  For the network issue: Windows key + X Select --> Windows PowerShell (admin) or Command Prompt (admin) and confirm.  Type these 8 commands and press enter each time: ipconfig /flushdns netsh winsock reset netsh winhttp reset proxy netsh winhttp reset tracing netsh winsock reset catalog netsh int ip reset all netsh int ipv4 reset catalog netsh int ipv6 reset catalog  Restart the PC.  ------------------------------------------- If the problem persists: Shut down the PC Unplug the modem (box) and router from the wall socket Wait a few minutes Plug the modem and router back into the wall socket Wait for all the LEDs to be on Start the PC.     -- Human beings are at their best when things are at their worst.
