My text in Word is "invisible"

Hello,
Last night I opened my text document on WordPad and I only changed the text color in one place, making sure to save it. Today I wanted to continue what I was doing, but when I opened my document, nothing is displayed, just a blank page as if it were a new project. However, the file size is displayed next to the title and I can select the "text" as if to copy it, for example. I would like to recover it because it took a long time to write...
