SFR voicemail help

Hello, I have an ultra-specific newbie question about life :), I'm not sure if any of you can answer me:
I call my contact and reach their voicemail (I believe it's a SFR answering machine, but I could be wrong). Since I'm really good with answering machines, I leave a first message that amounts to about fifteen seconds of mumbling :), then, as suggested in the menu, I press pound to listen again, then 1 to re-record.
When I'm done speaking, I press pound again to listen to the second message, which I’m satisfied with. However, I’m only given three options:
- press 1 to record again;
- press 2 to listen again;
- press 3 to delete.
In other words, there’s no button to confirm. So, I think I should just hang up, but I don’t have time because, in the absence of my choice, the menu says "we must end this conversation," and hangs up on its own.
My question, then, is: should I have hung up to validate my second message? Or was it taken into account? Or (the worst option), did they default back to the first one? I know this is quite a specific question, but it’s understandably confusing and it bothers me :) ; if someone could confirm the answer, that would be cool!

As soon as you leave a message on the voicemail, you just need to hang up for it to be recorded; the options presented at the end are just there to allow you to modify it later.
Don't worry, if you've done the right manipulations, everything is fine.
PS: there are no stupid or smart questions, everyone has the right to ask them; otherwise, it's called judgment.

the best thing is to look it up before asking, it sharpens our mind.
