How to know when someone blocks you on their phone

Good evening, I would like some advice on blocked calls and messages. I'm sending messages and getting read receipts but no responses, and when I call it rings once and then goes to voicemail. I wanted to know if the person has blocked me.

You might be blocked if you go directly to voicemail.

So it means that the person must have activated a do not disturb mode.

I have one on my Motorola, it's called Assist.
When I'm in a meeting, the messaging app automatically activates without the phone ringing.

If he hasn't blocked you, he receives calls forwarded to voicemail, texts, and MMS.

Then he might not want to answer because he can't when you call or maybe you're annoying him.
