Acer laptop stuck on startup (logo)

Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire E1 laptop (Windows 7). When I turn it on, it gets stuck on a black screen with the ACER logo, and in the bottom left corner of the screen, it says Press F2... and it beeps whenever I press a key. Please help me.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 62.0.3202.94

    I had the same problem yesterday with an HP laptop and VISTA; I found the solution on this site:
    1/ turn off the laptop,
    2/ unplug everything,
    3/ remove the battery,
    4/ press the power button for 30 seconds (of course the laptop won't turn on),
    5/ plug the laptop back into the power source,
    6/ and turn it on normally.
    It worked for me! (I didn't put the battery back since I only use the laptop plugged in).
