Hello,
The other day, the Sandisk Ultra 128 GB micro SD card was no longer recognized in my Motorola G5 smartphone.
I simply tried to read it through my PC, using a card reader, and it wasn't recognized either.
I tried to read it with 3 different data recovery software (Recuva, DiskDigger, and Image Rescue 5), and all 3 apps crash when trying to recognize the card, it shows the loading icon infinitely.
The same goes for Windows Disk Management, it hangs until I remove the card.
The same applies to Scandisk (chkdsk), it just spins endlessly.
Not to mention that even my internet runs slowly when I try to read the card on my PC.
It's really unfortunate, I had very important files on that card that were not backed up to the cloud...
Is there any hope of getting this card working again?
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 62.0.3202.94

I was finally able to run the 3 recovery software programs.
Out of the 3, only 1 seems to work, DiskDigger.
But it doesn't find any files on the card, not even images or sound files, while the card was full.
I especially want to recover a zip file of backup data.
I don't think it's virus-related; the card was only previously linked to a smartphone, defined as merged with the internal Android memory. At one point, it stopped working, but I had already received small warnings in the past (I thought I had uploaded everything to the cloud, photos, etc., but I had forgotten to upload this backup file).

Hello,
In general, when an SD card stops working, it is very difficult to recover data because it directly concerns access to the storage chips.
If they are not powered or accessible, there is no available data to recover. Even in a lab, it can sometimes be impossible to do so.
There are no miracles with this type of storage.
