Hello,
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 20.0
I have a 32 GB micro SD card. When I put files and folders on it (MP3, Docs, PDFs, etc.), everything is fine. However, as soon as I browse my SD card, everything is renamed with strange characters and the properties make no sense (for example a 3GB file even though I didn’t put that on). As a result, the files I transferred are not usable. When I click on one of the folders or files that have strange names, I get this error message: "G:\...\Music\goç-¨¨ù||" is not available. The syntax of the filename, directory name, or volume is incorrect. And to delete this kind of file I have to format the micro SD card.
Can someone help?

<ssch> RESOLVED: actually it's just that the cards are corrupted! We can't do anything, someone altered something so that it shows 32gb, but they don't do it! These are Chinese cards sold by KGB Deal and Style Shop, who don't want to listen and won't refund me, at least they turn a deaf ear!

format your key with this and check if the problem is still present

Thank you for your quick response. But no, this doesn’t work. I’ve tried with your software (Quick) and with Panasonic’s “SDFormatter” (Format type: Full overwrite, Format size adjustment: OFF).
There is still some improvement, so to speak, because my files stay normal longer, but after a few minutes it goes back to being random. I go into the properties of one of the folders and it tells me the folder is 85GB while my card is only 32GB.
Do you have other solutions? xd -
I have exactly the same problem on several cards intended only for photos. The problem persists and I don’t know what the solution is?
Thank you!
