YPbPr (YUV) where is the connection?

Question

Hello everyone, my question is quite simple (well, I suppose), I have an LED TV that has two HDMI ports, a VGA, Composite, and a Scart. However, in the sources menu of the television, in addition to these, I notice that I can connect a YPbPr socket, or YUV as they say, if I’m not mistaken. But I don’t see anywhere to connect YUV on my TV, no green and blue connectors... Does anyone have an idea? Since the source menu offers it, I imagine the TV is compatible ^^  Thanks in advance!

Hello, What are the references (Brand and model) of this LED television?  --  It is very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.                              Especially when it isn't there...

Hello and sorry for the delay! The television is an AYA A40FHD4002, I did some further research online since I no longer have the TV manual, apparently the television does support a device with YUV connectivity (after all, the source does appear in the menu) but it needs to be converted via the VGA port, so the YUV video signal goes through the VGA and the audio through the red and white connectors that are normally used for composite.  Can experts in the field confirm this?

Hello, and I greet Édouard by the way It's not because this entry appears in the sources menu that it necessarily exists on your model, and if you only have a yellow RCA, it's a composite entry... and if there are no green, red, and blue RCAs, no component...  -- I call a spade a spade *  *in French in the text

Thank you for this information, But then, why provide a YPbPr input in the sources if there isn't one? For your information Baladur, the model of the TV linked is not exactly the same ;) But overall the specifications are quite similar.  So I am expressing more precisely the information I found, based on other user manuals of AYA televisions built similarly to mine, the YPbPr source is indeed usable and supported. It is only specified that an adapter is required to convert the green, red, and blue connectors to VGA and then connect the white and red audio on the side of the TV, where the yellow composite connector is also found. Thus, when switching to YPbPr mode in the source, the television will take into account this information and display the selected source;  Here is an excerpt from this manual:   It is a television like mine that does indeed have a YPbPr source input but does not have the appropriate connectors directly; it would be illogical to offer the source in the menu if the TV does not support it ^^' So have I understood correctly? It is enough to have the mentioned adapter to operate a device in YUV?
