Hello,

I have recently started working with EBP Invoicing & Quotes 2016, and I am being asked to send an invoice via email. However, I can't seem to do it; I get an error message regarding the SMTP server...

I have tried to set it up with the information I found here and there online, but nothing works.

My email address is "outlook.fr" and my internet service provider is SFR. Does EBP support all email domains?

Thank you for your help.

    Hello tiare39,

Yes, Ebp supports various domains. I think you just have a configuration issue with your email. This often lies in the POP/SMTP settings and especially the associated ports.

I can only recommend that you double-check these settings.

Here’s a response from Luc Burnouf from Microsoft Community:

    Incoming mail server (POP3)
    Server name: pop3.live.com
    Port number: 995
    SSL
    Username: full email address
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
    Server name: smtp-mail.outlook.com or smtp.live.com
    Port number: 587
    TLS/SSL
Check the box 'My server requires authentication' or an equivalent phrase depending on the email software used.

    Give this a try.

In the meantime, you can generate a PDF file of your invoice for immediate assistance and send it as an email attachment.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if my response was helpful; I would appreciate it. I remain at your disposal for more information.

    Best regards.
