Hello,
For the past two or three days, my computer has been crashing without warning. It stops functioning all of a sudden, I get a BSOD, and all unsaved work is lost and unrecoverable.
With whocrashed, I noticed that the ntoskrnl.exe module was responsible for crashing my computer when I leave it on for about 5 minutes without touching it.
Still using the same program, I found that the ntkrnlmp.exe module was also responsible for crashing my computer. This occurs when I'm on Opera or Firefox, on certain sites (YouTube, for example). First, the windows freeze (a message indicating that the page has crashed is shown in the browser). If I use software that requires Java, it can also crash after a while (with the cmaptools program, for example).
I have an Intel Core i5-6400 CPU; Windows 64 bit, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TI graphics card.
I reinstalled the graphics card drivers and updated Java.
I lose all my data every time, which is very detrimental to my work. If someone could help me resolve this issue, I would be delighted and especially very very very grateful; my PC is a work tool for my job and for the university studies I am resuming in evening classes...
Thank you in advance
Valentin

Hi,
Blue screens or BSODs are crashes of Windows that can no longer continue to operate.
These crashes have several possible sources:
- software sources: a driver crash of a device such as the graphics card, antivirus crashing, or any other software that may load "at a low level" on Windows.
- hardware sources: hardware problems with the hard drive, defective memory sticks or incompatibilities, etc.
It is essential that you check if these crashes occur at particular times, for example, if it happens when you launch a video on your internet browser or a game, there's a good chance it’s the graphics card driver. You will then need to reinstall the graphics card drivers.
Also, unplug any other peripherals apart from the keyboard/mouse (game controller, USB webcam, USB printer, etc.); if you have one of these peripherals, mention it, it could be a source.
More information on these blue screens can be found on the following page: https://www.malekal.com/bsod-ecran-bleu-windows/

What happened three days ago?
Is Opera crashing alone? Do you not have Firefox or Edge nearby?
Can you test with Edge?
~~
Provide the Whocrashed report and:
Follow the FRST tutorial. ( take the time to read carefully - everything is well explained ).
Download and run the FRST scan,
Wait for the end of the scan, a message indicates that the analysis is complete.
Three FRST reports will be generated:
Send these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ to share them.
In return, provide the 3 pjjoint links that lead to the reports here in a new response so we can review them.

The report from WhoCrashed:
Crash dump directory: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump
Crash dumps are enabled on your computer.
On Sat 25-11-17 14:48:54 your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\112517-5500-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x1640E0)
Bugcheck code: 0x1A (0x41792, 0xFFFF8D8124A08140, 0x4000000000, 0x0)
Error: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a severe memory management error occurred.
This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules. This problem might also be caused because of overheating (thermal issue).
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Conclusion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. Only 5 are included in this report. No offending third-party drivers have been found. Consider using WhoCrashed Professional which offers more detailed analysis using symbol resolution. Also configuring your system to produce a full memory dump may help you.
Read the topic general suggestions for troubleshooting system crashes for more information.
Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless, it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.
Thank you!
