Hello,
I just received a Danew Konnect 601 as a gift, it doesn't want to connect to my Freebox, the internet works but I don't have an internet plan, so it connects through mobile data. The Danew manual is not clear, can someone help me? I saw that I could do a reset but I don't know how to do it. On my Samsung tablet, I press the power button + volume, but I haven't found anything for the phone. Should I call Danew support?
Thank you for your response and your insightful help.
Have a nice evening

Configuration: Android / Firefox 57.0

    Hello

    Here is your manual

    https://danew.fr/supportproduit/3g/Konnect%20601/manuel/Manuel_K601_7.0_EN.pdf

Then, when your box is found, you need to enter the password for your box, which is usually provided in the box. If you don't have it, you can go to Free via your customer account and you should find it there. Another method is that you should have a WPS button on your box; you just need to hold it down to connect your phone to your box's Wi-Fi. Not knowing which model of Freebox you have, you can also find the manual or FAQ for your model there.

      Good evening
I'm sorry, I found the Danew manual, it tells me to connect to the Wi-Fi.
When I tried to do that, I entered the WEP key, it finds my Freebox Revolution but says connected no internet access.
I've tried several times but it's impossible.
In the Danew FAQs, they say to do a reset, should I do it or should I call their support?
Another question, can we use the phone (if it ever connects to the Wi-Fi one day) without a SIM card? Only for surfing the internet
We have 2 Samsung Core Prime and we've never had a problem
Thank you, have a good evening

    Hello

I don't have a Freebox, but are you sure you need to enter a WEP key and not a WPA/PSK key instead? I told you to check your Freebox account and Wi-Fi settings. Reset your box to start with. Then yes, you can use your phone on Wi-Fi without a SIM. Lastly, for the factory reset of your phone, refer to pages 18-19 of your manual.

    Hello. Same issue.
I did a reset but it didn’t help
I changed my WEP key to WPA TKIP/AES but there’s no change. As for WPS with a code or automatically, it’s impossible on Freeboxes; they don’t have it. They consider it insecure, whether it’s Freebox Crystal, Revolution, or Mini 4K
So I’m back to square one. The only option left is to change service providers.

Thank you, I am still at the same point. I contacted Danew support who referred me to Free, and Free told me that my box is fine!!
The mobile connects without any problem to my son's box. I will post a request on the Freebox forum.

I think, and I mean it, I think you have a problem with the MAC address whitelisting. LOOK HERE
