Hello,
I desperately need help, since the latest Windows update, my computer no longer receives any Wi-Fi. I can use the internet by creating a network bridge through my laptop which works. So it works via Ethernet.
But nothing for the Wi-Fi card, I've tried another one and still the same problem, the famous Code 28 (as seen in the image)
I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but it doesn't change anything, and I can't find any solution despite all my attempts, help!

When I did this for the first time, it brought me to a Network Controller error (code 28) resolved earlier by Glg29 (thank you again!)
I just did it, by deleting all the drivers. Code 28 reappeared for a few seconds only to disappear, but code 10 returned on the Broadcom 802.11ac in the Network Adapter tab!

The problematic peripheral has changed its name after this manipulation and has become "Broadcom 802.11ac ..."
But its hardware ID number is the same.

Sorry, but I don’t have many ideas left to suggest, kaneagle might possibly see something we forgot!
We both have patience, but he is more skilled and his experience is undeniable.
It's a card added to the PC, if I'm not mistaken!
Have you tried uninstalling it, removing the drivers related to that card, restarting the PC without the card, shutting it down, and then starting everything again?
It's just a suggestion, but you never know!

Hello,
What is a PC?
What is the operating system? (What about Windows?)
What is the version?
Best regards.

Hello, thank you for your response.
PC that I built, with Windows 10 64bit.
The rest of the configuration is:
Asus 970 Pro Gaming Aura
AMD FX-9590
GeForce GTX 960
The network card: Asus PCE - AC68
Windows is installed on SSD (HyperX Savage) and the rest on a regular HDD.
I reformatted my PC, but the problem remained!

I was going to suggest manual installation from the driver mentioned in the third response; it's a network card added to the PC, you surprise me a bit with Broadcom actually!
But you must have your reasons that I wouldn't dare to question!
Regards to you as well.
The same message appears, with the infamous Code 10!
I followed your procedure (which I had already seen on other similar forums ;) ) and still nothing. The utility tells me "Windows has found drivers for your device, but encountered an error trying to install them
This device cannot start (Code 10)"
