Unknown network controller

Hello everyone

For a few weeks, the icon for my connection has had a red cross. Looking in the device manager, the network controller has a yellow triangle symbol with a question mark inside it. When I click on properties and then on details, there’s nothing in the property, when I click on identification number, here’s what appears: PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_0401&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00

In the driver section: nothing is accessible except for driver details and when I click on it: no driver file is needed or has been loaded for this device.

Searching on touslesdrivers.com, it seems that this network controller is a Ralink RT61 MIMO Wireless LAN Card network adapter

So I went back to the properties page of the network controller, requested to change the settings and there: it says:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
No driver for the device information set or one of its elements has been selected.
To find a driver for this device, click on Update Driver.

I clicked on update and ... Windows could not install your network controller

So what should I do?

Hello, yes he gave it to me for a Ralink controller but I made a mistake, it’s a Realtek, so the drivers are different, and I went on the Realtek motherboard site and having no more information than Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, adapter type: ethernet or Software Loopback Interface 1: adapter type: Loopback, I don't have a number, version, nothing: nothing shows up! So which driver should I take, is there a pack that could be useful to me?

The ID number does not match for a Realtek.
Install this driver --> wired
Double-click and follow the instructions.

The problem is in Device Manager and other devices, and within it, network controller with an exclamation point:

Right-click on the problematic device
Uninstall it
Restart the PC.

See what it does in the Device Manager.

Uninstalling is fine, but if I need to reinstall it, how do I do that? Where do I go, since I don't even know what it is or where the program or software is located...

What is the network controller ????

You did not read the message well!
After restarting, go back to Device Manager to see if the device is still in alert, etc...

Ok, so if I uninstall and it's that, perfect, but the hiccup is that I've had my PC for 5 years, and on my PC, there's a network controller. So why should I remove it, and first, read my message too: what is it for? And finally, if I remove it and need to reinstall it later, how do I do that since I don't even know its version number or brand?

The network controller is for wifi!
Normally, after uninstalling the device and restarting the PC, Windows should reinstall it with or without an alert.
