Hello,

I have the issue of "RTC battery is low" when starting my Toshiba laptop. Thank you for any help in finding a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance to everyone.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 62.0.3202.94

    Hi,

    It's the motherboard battery that's dead.
    Go to a tobacco shop and ask for a button cell model 2032.
    You just need to replace the one on the motherboard with the new one.

      Go back to the BIOS and reset it to default.
      Also check that the clock is up to date in it.

    The problem is that there's no access to the BIOS. I press F2 at startup but always get a blue screen and RTC battery.

      So you need to see if you can do a Clear CMOS on the motherboard.
      You just need to move a small jumper for a few seconds.

      I don’t know if your motherboard has this feature, but you never know.

    I finally found the problem; I had to plug in another keyboard and it worked. It was the function key F2 on my built-in keyboard that wasn't working. Thanks, bro, for your help.

      It will be as it was originally, so if you never modified it, it will stay like that.
      The clock should update itself automatically.
