Hello,
I used to have a really free version of Freemake Video Converter, which I used to convert camcorder video files (MTS) to AVI, then compile them with VideoPad.
With VideoPad and MTS files, the beginnings and ends of sequences are of poor quality (distortion). It's fine when converting them to AVI.
Unfortunately, I updated Freemake and ended up with the paid version.
-Does anyone have an old version? The ones on the site are no longer operational.
-How can I convert MTS videos to something else for free? Files up to 500MB.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 56.0

Hello,
Try Format Factory, which is free.
It supports a very large number of formats, including MTS.
There's also Avidemux, which is pretty good too.
