Here, I come here to ask you a question. I would like to get the Asus ROG GL702VM, but what will its lifespan be? Because if I spend more than 1700 euros for 3 years or 2 years, it's not worth it. Brands are equal... Asus and MSI are both well-made in gaming PCs.
It all depends on the model you choose...
Anyway, given the evolution of machines, you have every interest in getting a desktop PC where you can change the graphics card rather than a laptop.
