Hello, My VCR doesn't work anymore. The tape is positioned correctly, the cylinder turns (I opened it), but the tape doesn't advance. Do you have any idea? Thank you in advance for your response.

"the cylinder rotates" What are you talking about? The inclined drum of the read heads? It’s the cassette drive shaft that needs to be checked  I call a spade a spade *      *in French in the text
