Hello/Good evening,
I recently received a text message from a friend in bold, which raises the question of whether it is really possible to write in bold, italic or underlined.

Hey! So if you have an iPhone (running at least iOS 8), you write the SMS, double-click on the text to customize, and there are 4 options: Cut, Copy, Paste, and an arrow. You select the arrow, and the last option, which is BIU. Normally, you will have the choice between the 3 desired customizations.
