Hello,
I have a computer that no longer starts, and as a result, I want to use my internal hard drive from my laptop as an external hard drive.
Having looked at several forums, I'm not sure about the type of my hard drive.
That's why I'm reaching out to you to find out what type of adapter I should buy.
I am attaching a pair of photos for more information on it.
Sincerely,
Max30150

Hello,
This is a classic "SATA" hard drive.
However, on the connector side, the one present must be removed (by pulling outward, horizontally) in order to extract the connector from the laptop the hard drive comes from. ;o)
Once the connector in question is removed, you just need to buy a "SATA" > "USB" enclosure to externalize your drive.
For example, with this type of enclosure: https://www.topachat.com/pages/detail2_cat_est_micro_puis_rubrique_est_w_boidd_puis_ref_est_in10093890.html
