SHOWROOMPRIVE: a beautiful scam for watch guarantees!
Hello*
I bought an automatic watch by ANDRE BELFORT several months ago on the website SHOWROOMPRIVE.com thinking I was getting a good deal.
Unfortunately for me, when I received the presentation box of the watch, it was broken, but the watch itself was fine. So I decided to keep the watch.
What a mistake I made! Some settings on the watch don't work. And on top of that, while trying to change the settings of the watch, a hand fell off the dial or broke while I had the watch in my hands!
I therefore decided to contact customer service and they told me that my warranty doesn't apply in this situation. One shouldn't overdo it; if I turn a setting screw, I don't expect a hand to fall off the dial.
Does anyone have any idea how to get me out of this situation?
In any case, this will be the last purchase I make on this site...
Thank you.

Hello
Warning! The great SPR smoke screen is about to begin..
Use the Legal Guarantee of Conformity (L217-4 to L217-14 of the Consumer Code..) to demand a free replacement..
Act by registered mail to make a point and cut short the useless chatter served by an incompetent customer service..
Question: Is the watch (Supposedly of Brand..) the REAL deal or a cheap knockoff?? We have already received reports of counterfeit watches..
Don't let yourself be swayed by the eternal regrets of the Mediator that's come out of its box to cloud your judgment..
See you later

Hello, I also bought an André Belfort watch for €273 instead of €1500 (!). It broke down after 3 months. We therefore returned it to the supplier through Showroomprivé (€15 for shipping + insurance, as it's being sent back to Germany).
A new watch (or the repaired watch? no explanation) was sent back to us... and it doesn’t work at all!
André Belfort watches to avoid (I saw this in several reviews that I should have checked beforehand). And Showroom obviously refuses to refund.
Be sure to research reviews on a supplier before buying from Showroomprivé.

Re:
The Legal Guarantee of Conformity provides for replacement at no cost... The Show Room’s Broken Arms seem to pretend they don’t know the texts??...
And the refund if nothing positive is done after 30 days...
Read articles L217-4 to L217-17 of the Consumer Code...
Only act by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (Cite the applicable articles...).
In view of the situation, a formal notice to replace (or refund...) is necessary...
In case of problems, contact the DDPP 93.

Thank you for your help. I will take a look at the details of the "conformity guarantee."
In my opinion, the watch is genuine and it was working well until this issue with the hand arose. I must admit that I don't know much about it, so I'm not in a position to say whether it's real or fake. I'm not an expert :-)
Have a nice day.
