This is not a request for help but a warning!
Beware of this fake jewelry store: "CHRISTIAN CHAUBET" online (https://christianchaubet.com/)
A guy contacted me on Instagram with an account that had very few followers, speaking English, with a name and a photo giving him an Indian appearance. Shortly after, the account disappeared.
He told me to contact the Instagram Christian Chaubet because they are looking for ambassadors.
I did, and it’s an account that has about 200k followers, and there they promise you tons of free jewelry. They give you a promo code for their site, which really works, except that the site is also in English (weird for a brand with a French name) and for a brand that sells very expensive jewelry with very few different models, the site is really basic, too basic for it to be a real brand... So especially don't fall for it and don't provide them with your information, addresses, etc...

Anonymous site without reference of registration in the English RCS.. Presumed ghost or 'Asian' in a broad sense..

A fake address 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ which is just a mailbox among thousands of others located in the same place for £40 a year!

Another Monkey Business.. Sooner or later, you will have to pay something in exchange for a future fortune.. It's not worth a dime, no need to waste your time with these dubious clowns of the jewelry produced by the low-cost Asian trinket industry..

Avoid friendships or 'deals' presented on these unregulated Social Networks..

In short: to be avoided!

I just received a similar message. They are offering me to become an ambassador. It's suspicious considering that I have very few followers and I am on the French and Belgian bookstagram (I only talk about books) so I don't see the interest of this "brand" contacting me.

I searched online and the website or the brand doesn't seem to exist.

I don’t know if there’s an exact technique to find out, but the first thing to do is to search online. Then, I think that serious brands reach out in a more… official way?!
There’s also the number of followers on the account that sends the message. A real company won’t use an account with 3 or 4 followers. And I think the most important thing is, if you have any doubts, it’s better not to do it. For example, I received a message after posting a picture of baby birds. Immediately the doubt arose, what’s the connection with jewelry?? Anyway, I hope I’ve helped you!
