Hello,
I have an HP ENVY 5540 printer that I want to install on WINDOWS VISTA and I'm having trouble with the HP CD, plus I can't remove the old printer.
Can you help me?
Thank you
Best regards
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 52.0

It simply means that your operating system must be faulty; first, reinstall it and then reinstall the printer.
Which Vista do you have? 32 or 64 bits? Finally, try to check here:

This driver is in FULL VERSION, which means it installs on all Windows systems, WHETHER 32 or 64 bits. If it doesn't work, it simply means your system is faulty and you should reinstall it because it has some defects.
Good evening Meistertang,
Thank you for your advice, I have a 32-bit Windows Vista system.
I am quite pleased with myself, because this evening the printer is connected, the scanner too, and everything appears as icons and windows on my opening page.
What more could I ask for!
Thank you again for your help.
