Unable to enter my Windows password

Hello everyone,

after a manipulation in msconfig on Windows 10, I can no longer enter my password. At startup, the wallpaper appears and stays frozen. However, the keyboard and mouse work just fine. The blockage occurred right after I selected the second option: boot in diagnostic mode. Thank you for your promptness.

    Hello,

    Start with the advanced system recovery options using method 1 from this page: Windows Advanced Recovery Options.
    The principle is to restart on the page where you are asked for the password, with the icon at the bottom right, while holding the shift key.

    If you do NOT reach the window where Windows asks for passwords, due to a freeze or crash beforehand...
    Turn off the computer twice during Windows loading.
    It will enter repair mode, which will also provide access to the advanced system recovery options.
    (If booting into the advanced recovery options is impossible, you will need to create a drive to boot from, there is a link on the previous page for that).

    From Troubleshoot, you can then attempt:
    - to launch a system restore to return to a previous configuration of Windows
    - From the settings menu, restart Windows and go into safe mode, from there you can uninstall a problematic application like your antivirus
    - Reset Windows 10 (this keeps the data but removes applications).
