Sennheiser RS 127 transmitter won't turn on

Hello,
The transmitter of my Sennheiser RS 127 headset won't turn on. The green LED is not blinking. The electrical connection is fine, and so is the connection to the TV (it seems to me).
Can you help me? Thank you in advance.

    The diet was not at fault.
    I followed the reset procedure explained on the brand's website: unplugging the transmitter, removing the headset batteries, and waiting a few minutes. The headset works again.
