Hello!
My "problem," if I can call it that, is as follows:
I often write messages on Facebook by clicking the "Contact" box to people who are not on my friends list. However, I notice that almost none of them seem to receive my messages since I don't see a little checkmark next to the message I sent indicating that my message has been read; in fact, this has happened very rarely.
So I would like to know why they can't see my messages or if they do see them, why the checkmark doesn't appear. In short, please explain to me what I don't understand about all this.
Thank you!

Hi
It all depends on the people. Some won't see the "message requests" list. So they don't see your message. Otherwise, they can definitely see it without you knowing.-

1. Sometimes notifications for "message requests" may not be received, and therefore not seen.
2. Basically, when someone sends you a request, you have the option to read it without the person knowing. However, if you want to respond to that person, you must "accept the request," and it's at that moment that you will be able to see that the person has read your message.
