Hello, I'm new, sorry if my question has already been asked. In Edge, I had a thin toolbar at the top, now this toolbar has become a 8 cm band, which bothers me a lot, I can't find the solution to remove this band. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for responding to me. Unfortunately, I did not find the solution despite your suggestions. I have now changed my default browser and I am satisfied. Edge, because of that unbearable banner, only allowed me a reduced part of my screen.

Hello,

1- Try to delete the browsing data
Open Edge
Go to the three dots in the top right corner
Go to → Settings
Scroll down to the line → Clear browsing data
Click on → Choose what to clear
Check/select the first 4 boxes
Finish with → Clear

2- Reset Edge
See here

3- System restore to a previous date is simpler than resetting Edge
If the restore is activated, go back to a date before the problem
The procedure
Right-click on the Start button then → Run
type → rstrui
Then OKNext
Check the box → Show more restore points
Select a highlighted date (the selected line is blue)
Finish with → Next
Duration 15 to 30 minutes, the PC will restart by itself once the restoration is complete
