Accessing the BIOS on a Lenovo

Hi team,

I have a Lenovo G40-45 laptop model 80E1 and I would like to access the BIOS, but no matter how much I press F1, F2, F12, or DEL, nothing works. I looked online and all I find is to press the keys mentioned above; if anyone has any idea how to access the BIOS, I would appreciate it. The computer runs on Windows 8.

On the Lenovo G50-70, a new entry technique for the BIOS is used. On the left side of the PC, near the power connector, there is a small reboot button. With the PC off, press and hold this button for a few seconds with the tip of a pen, a match, etc., until a small blue window appears; this is the menu. Select BIOS and confirm: you're there... confirm your boot choice: fn+f10.

Thank you, man, for your help. I would have taken ages to find it; I thought it was a quick factory reset in case of an error!! A big thank you!! It's definitely original to put the BIOS there!! Wishing everyone a great New Year's Eve and a happy new year!! ;-) :-) ;-)
