Hello,
I have some friends who disappear from the Snap Map. My question is: do you have to manually go into ghost mode to disappear from the Snap Map, or does a person automatically disappear from the map after a certain period of inactivity on Snapchat until they reconnect? For example, if I don't log in to Snapchat for 12 hours, does my character automatically leave the map? Thank you.

If you don't want anyone to know where you are, because the function is extremely precise, there are several ways to stop appearing on Snap Map. The first is to choose Ghost Mode. You can access it either by tapping on the settings wheel at the top right of the screen or by tapping on your avatar. On your screen, you will then appear with a ghost covering your face and will disappear from your friends' screens.
Another solution is to close the app. This action will prevent you from appearing on your friends' screens. They will not be able to track any of your movements. However, as soon as you reopen the app, your avatar will reappear on Snap Map.
Finally, you can disappear from the map by avoiding opening the app for eight hours. And the last option to not show up on Snap Map is to never have used the function!
This explains why people's locations appear or disappear.

My problem is that I don't know where I am on Snap, I don't even have a group, I can't even find people on Snap. So please show me how to do it or add me to a group.
