Question

Hello, I have the letter ""&"" that repeats infinitely when I press the keys on the same line: (é " ' è _ ç à) and on the "2" and "0" on the keypad.
I formatted the computer, nothing changed, I dismantled the key, still nothing, however the key for the letter that repeats does not work when I want to use it. Thank you for your help.

My computer is a LENOVO G50.
When I turn on the computer without touching anything, the letter repeats infinitely to enter my password.

In this case, it's just that the keyboard is getting old and therefore needs to be changed unfortunately, whether it’s a USB keyboard for your PC or the keyboard on your laptop, there’s no other choice.

I've already had this kind of problem on 3 different ACER computers, which for me are low-end, and even on an HP I had this issue with a key repeating infinitely. Sometimes I hit it hard, and it stops, only to start again 30 seconds later. I changed it and had no more problems.
You say you've formatted the computer, so your system is new, it can't be due to a virus given the situation, and the same problem persists. Even if it's a recent computer, I think the issue is that the keyboard needs to be replaced.

Well, it depends, some computers are easy and others are not :) .
Generally, a flat screwdriver is enough; you need to look at the F1, F2 ... F10 keys, and along this length, you should normally be able to insert the screwdriver and pry up the current keyboard, which should then unclip on its own. The left and right sides of the keyboard also unclip.
Be careful with the keyboard ribbon cable that is just behind it; you'll need to unplug it.
For some laptops, it’s more complicated because you'll have to unscrew some screws at the back of the computer, so since I don't know your exact model, I can't check if there's a tutorial for removing the keyboard.

It would be good, when your computer just turns on, without touching any keys, to see if it doesn't start repeating anything. It would be a good idea to connect a USB keyboard to see if everything works well.

Watch this video closely, you need to open the back of the computer because there are 2 screws inside that hold the keyboard, but it's still very easy to do, and the video clearly shows which screws need to be removed.
I used to have this computer too :).
Once the keyboard cable is disconnected from the motherboard, try connecting a USB keyboard to see how your computer reacts if you can.

So, if the USB keyboard works perfectly, it means that the original keyboard is malfunctioning.

Hello, last night it was very late to continue the conversation, it was midnight in Réunion :)

So to answer your questions, on a PC as you wrote, yes you can plug in one or two USB keyboards without any apparent problem.
However, on your laptop, since the internal keyboard has that malfunction with the keys that get stuck, you can plug a USB keyboard into it but it won't change anything; it will continue to repeat the letters.
That's why you need to disconnect the internal keyboard from the laptop and connect the USB one to test if everything works well, which will prove that it's indeed the internal keyboard that's malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.

The link on eBay is not a USB keyboard as you said, this is a keyboard that corresponds to the references you gave me, that is to say an internal keyboard for the Lenovo G50 laptop, logically the photo should match that of your laptop keyboard.

Fleming974, I just received my keyboard bought on eBay and I installed it; it works perfectly, and so far there's no more letter repetition. The only thing is that
I can't seem to properly put the top of the keyboard back in its place, but it works like this, so for now it will do... Thank you anyway for your information, it helped me a lot.
